Electrical connectors and mechanical damage

The connectors connected to the control unit may suffer from corrosion or other electrical faults, which can lead to irregular system operation or even system failure. Sometimes the problem is with rotten cables, and that's why the 4x4 doesn't work properly.

Mechanical damage can occur for example when the haldex of the ECU comes in contact with the road or parts that fly off the road for example stones, roads are treated with salt during the winter which over the years destroys the silicone on the ECU and your ECU gets waterlogged which causes some parts to shake out or oxidize.
Wheel sensor problems: wheel sensors, which measure wheel speed and provide data to the control unit, can be susceptible to damage or wear and tear, which can cause errors in the system.

Software problems

Ff there are errors in the control unit software, this can result in undesirable vehicle behaviour such as incorrect torque distribution between the front and rear wheels. This problem can occur if the software has been updated incorrectly or if you have put a new control unit on the car that is either not suitable for your car or needs to be recoded. Error code e.g. 01315 (we can also resolve this remotely, please contact us in case of this error code)

Oil pump problems or sensor/solenoid N373

The oil pump in the Haldex unit is an important component that ensures proper lubrication and cooling of the system. If the pump malfunctions, it can lead to excessive wear or failure of the unit. This problem is common if oil changes are neglected in the Haldex clutch and deposits clog and destroy the pump, which then needs to be replaced.
